Three things to remember:

 

  • Multi-Joint Moves Are Key

Isolating a single muscle group (think bicep curls) isn't always the best use of your time. Focusing more on moves like squats, deadlifts, and lunges will engage multiple muscle groups, burning more calories and getting you better results.

 

  • Alternate Upper and Lower Body Exercises

Maximize your time in the gym by working your lower body while giving your upper body a rest, and vice versa.

 

  • Challenge Yourself and Change Things up

When exercises start feeling easy, it’s time to make a change. Increase the weight or try a different exercise to keep challenging yourself.
