Yes, strength and power are important on the golf course, but so is mobility – and that’s exactly where you need to focus your warm-up.

 

Why is a mobility warm-up so important?

 

By activating certain muscles and getting them warmed up and loose, you are ensuring that you will get the most out of your time on the course.

 

Don’t let the first three holes be your warm-up. Instead, show up on the course in great form, ready to play a great game.

 

A good golf swing requires large, sweeping movements from several different muscle groups.

 

If you do not have a full range of motion, your golf swing will suffer.

 

Furthermore, you need all these muscle groups to work in concert with one another to make sure you’re executing your best possible swing.

 

And don’t worry… a full golf warm-up doesn’t have to take a long time.
